From April 12 – 21, come to Café Marco and feast on the exciting dishes of Cebu’s brightest Media Personalities! From appetizers to desserts, experience for yourself this unique Culinary Journey featuring extraordinary people creating extraordinary dishes with the culinary guidance of Ms. Jessica Avila.
Lifestyle writer from The Freeman and Philippine Star Ms. Honey Jarque-Loop will whip up two family specialties, pollo a la chilindron and lapu lapu al horno. The Freeman’s food writer Dr. Nestor Alonso will make us drool for his jade green prawns, crispy squid rolls and beef in perpetual sauce.
Award winning photojournalist Mr. Tonee Despojo will set aside his camera for a while as he lets us sample his grilled boneless bangus and steamed lapu lapu with sunflower oil. GMA Cebu’s station manager Ms. Ann Marie Tan will be indulging us with local comfort food humba with egg and chicken binacol.
Bubbly TV personality and Sunstar columnist Alexis Yap will also let us try, as he would love to call them, the Alexis’ Simple but Awesome Mango Float and Kini ang Kinilaw. Sunstar Weekend Editor Noel Villaflor will leave us wanting for more rice with his Sisig with Kesong Puti.
And last but not the least, I Luv Cebu brothers Doyzkie Buenaviaje, Edd Buenaviaje and Reymond Buenaviaje will share their dad’s special crispy pata recipe with kare-kare sauce. All these dishes will be available for lunch and dinner, only at the award winning Café Marco!
